In an only-in-NYC moment, The Aurelian kicks off its weekly Broadway Lunch Concerts on May 6 with a series of intimate concerts, thanks to some of Broadway’s most talented artists and musical directors. Members can grab a bite to go at The Café and enjoy their lunch in the company of some true New York starpower. Here’s a preview of who is appearing:

Ezekiel Andrew of “The Lion King†shares the stage with Garrett Taylor, a frequent guest in the “Wicked†orchestra, for a special midday members-only vocal treat in the Club.  Mississippi Delta native Ezekiel debuted on Broadway in “The Lion King†where he understudied the role of Mufasa. Other favorite roles include Coalhouse Walker, Jr. in “Ragtime,†the Beast in “Beauty and the Beast,†and Jim in “Big River.†Garrett is a multifaceted performer, pianist, conductor, teacher, and orchestrator who has played for numerous Broadway shows and shares his talents with students at NYU, Manhattan School of Music, Marymount and Stella Adler.
